3 Kenya
Welcome to Year 3 Kenya
Class teacher: Miss Chaplin
Learning support assistants: Mrs Toms and Mrs Goult
My name is Miss Chaplin and I am the teacher for Kenya class. I have enjoyed learning new things in year 3 and exploring some new topics with the children, especially in history. At home I have one cat called Bella. Outside of school I enjoy reading, swimming, travelling to new places and going to the theatre with friends.
What does your child need to bring everyday?

Timetable Summer Term
When do Kenya have PE?
Kenya class have PE on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Children will be required to come into school in their PE kit. PE kits must comprise of black shorts, white t-shirts and plain black trainers or plimsoles. During the colder months, black tracksuit bottoms and a plain black hoodie may be worn. Please ensure clothing does not contain any branded logos. Additionally, please remember that earrings cannot be worn for PE and should be removed at home if your child is unable to do this themselves.
If your child has an after school sports club, they should bring their PE kit to school or they will be unable to attend. Thank you.
Homework
Each week, your child will bring home some homework. This will include reading and practicing their weekly spellings along with a variety of retrieval tasks. Homework will change each week and will be communicated to you in the children's blue homework books. Homework will be set and collected on a Monday. Logins for Times Tables Rockstars can be found within the children's pupil planners. The set spellings for the week can be found in your child's pupil planner.
