Children can arrive at school as from 8.35am, and should be in school and ready to start learning at 8.45am. 8.45am will be the official start of the school day.

To help with this, classrooms and doors will be open as from 8.35am.

Registers are taken at 8.50am 

Pupils arriving after 8:45am should report to the school office as they will be required to sign in and provide a reason for the lateness. Gates will be locked at 8.45am.

Any child arriving between 8:50 and 9:00am will be marked with an ‘L’ code. Any child arriving after 9am will be marked with a 'U' code. This means they will have an unauthorised late mark. 

If your child arrives at school after 9am, they may need to catch up on the learning they have missed, at break or lunchtime, depending on the reason for their lateness.

End of the School Day: All year groups finish at 3.20pm. This is the official end of the compulsory school day. Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be released from their classroom’s external doors. 

Our school opening hours will be 8.45am until 3.20pm, which adds up to a total time of 32 hrs 55mins in a typical week.
